The game of chess brings back the childhood memories of our Center’s founder, Prof. Purnomo Yusgiantoro. As Prof. once said that, “The memory of my childhood went back to when I played chess under the tree, while my Grandpa, part-time barber, was sitting next to me and busy cutting his clients hair. I have developed my strategy and analytical thinking since then”.
Looking back to the enthusiasm of junior participants in previous competitions, PYC again is thrilled to organize another chess competition to commemorate this year’s Indonesia Independence Day.
The 3rd Junior Chess Championship 2018 will be coming soon! The competition will be held on the 11th of August 2018, and the registration will be opened on July 1, 2018. Please check all the details below and we are looking forward to your participation!
